Gift guides

Getting ready for GTA 6

GTA 6 needs about 210GB on PS5, so storage is one of the smartest Black Friday buys this year.

Building a PC?

RAM prices have soared and some top graphics cards are hard to find. Read should you build a gaming PC now and where the RTX 5080 and 5090 went before you buy.

Warhammer on Black Friday

Games Workshop rarely discounts directly, so the savings are in the big Christmas boxes and at independent stores. See the 40K Christmas Battleforces, the Age of Sigmar boxes, and our Warhammer start-here page if you're buying for a beginner.

Before you buy, check what you already get: PS Plus November 2026 games, and what's leaving Game Pass in November.

How to spot a real deal

  • Compare with the list price. "$50 off" a price that went up $150 this year isn't a deal.
  • Check what's in the bundle. A game you'd buy anyway is real savings; old games and extras you don't need aren't.
  • Use price history. If a "deal" price is the same as last month, it isn't a Black Friday deal.
  • Buy from official stores and trusted retailers. Fake deal sites and "too good to be true" listings spike in November.

My take

This year the best Black Friday buys for gamers aren't consoles, they're the things around them: storage for GTA 6, controllers, headsets and games. Decide what you want now, check the real price, and you'll know a good deal the moment you see one.
