Is There a GTA 6 PS5 Bundle? Not Yet, but There Are Two Limited-Edition GTA 6 Controllers

With GTA 6 arriving on November 19, a lot of PlayStation players are searching for a "GTA 6 PS5 bundle." Here's the short answer: as of late October, Sony and Rockstar haven't announced an official one. What Sony is selling for the launch is a pair of limited-edition GTA 6 DualSense controllers. Here's everything that's actually available.

Is there an official GTA 6 PS5 bundle?

• Not right now. Neither Sony nor Rockstar has announced an official PS5 console bundle with GTA 6.
• Some retailers, mainly in the UK, have listed their own packages that pair a PS5 or PS5 Pro with the game. Those are store combos, not official Sony products, so compare the price with buying the two separately.
• Be careful with "exclusive early access bundle" offers you see shared online. Reports of a pricey PS5 Pro "early access" bundle have circulated, but it doesn't appear to be a verified Sony announcement.

The limited-edition GTA 6 DualSense controllers

Sony revealed two GTA 6 themed PS5 controllers in September:

• Price: $84.99 in the US, £74.99 in the UK.
• Release date: November 19, 2026, the same day as the game.
• Two designs: a black edition inspired by Vice City's nightlife, sold only on PlayStation Direct, and a white edition also sold at regular retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Walmart.
• Stock: pre-orders opened September 10, and both have sold out at some stores. Reports say the PlayStation Direct black edition has been much harder to get than the white one.
• PS5 only: they're DualSense controllers for PS5, not for PS4.

What about that black PS5 in Japan?

Sony is also releasing a cheaper Midnight Black PS5 Digital Edition in Japan around the GTA 6 launch, for ¥55,000. It's a Japan-only, region-locked console, and it doesn't include the game or any GTA branding, so it isn't a GTA 6 bundle.

Before you buy: storage

GTA 6 is reportedly about 210GB on PS5, which is a big chunk of the console's storage. If you're buying a PS5 now or already low on space, check our guide on how much space GTA 6 needs and how to make room.

My take

It's a little surprising there's no official bundle for the biggest game in years, and one could still show up before November 19. But if you already own a PS5, you're not missing much: buy the game, add storage if you need it, and grab the white controller if you want a collector's piece. Just don't pay a scalper double for it. Are you getting one of the controllers?
