"The King of Monsters comes to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds," SEGA says. The first Season Pass Two pack adds the Godzilla Escape course, where you race away from Godzilla's rampage through a city, and three new machines inspired by Godzilla, King Ghidorah and Mothra. Reports say it also brings new Jukebox music.

Every player gets Bayonetta, the Umbra Witch, at no cost. She drives the Butterfly Witch, a Boost-type Extreme Gear machine inspired by her Infernal Demon, Madama Butterfly. Reports say you unlock her through Rival Duel matches.

What's in Season Pass Two

Season Pass Two costs $29.99 and includes six paid crossover packs over the coming months. Confirmed so far:

  • Godzilla: out now.
  • Evangelion: a Tokyo-3 course and three Evangelion machines. Store listings point to around January 2027; SEGA hasn't given an exact date.
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake series: date to be announced.
  • Virtual Sanrio Puroland: Hello Kitty and friends, listed for spring 2027 (Q2).
  • More packs: reports also mention Persona; SEGA says "and more".

Players who own both Season Pass One and Two also get Super Shadow, according to the Year Two announcement.

New prices: is it worth it now?

At $39.99 for the Digital Standard Edition, CrossWorlds costs about half its launch price, which makes it a good time to jump in, especially with Black Friday sales starting. If you want all the crossovers, the Year Two Digital Deluxe Edition bundles the base game and Season Pass Two for $59.99, cheaper than buying them separately.

Why anime fans should care

The Evangelion pack is the big one for anime fans: Unit-01 is already on the Year Two key art, racing past the Tokyo-3 skyline. With Godzilla, Final Fantasy VII and Sanrio on the same roster, CrossWorlds has become one of the biggest crossover racers around. See also our fall 2026 anime guide.
