What is Warhammer Survivors?
If you've played Vampire Survivors, you already know the idea: you move your hero around while their weapons fire automatically, waves of enemies get bigger and bigger, and you pick upgrades as you level up to build a ridiculous, screen-filling arsenal. Each run lasts a few minutes, which makes it perfect for short sessions on a phone or Switch.
Warhammer Survivors brings that formula to both Warhammer universes, Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar, with characters and enemies from each. Reports say there are more than 40 champions to unlock. It's made by Auroch Digital, the studio behind the retro shooter Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, so it's in experienced Warhammer hands.
How to play the demo
The free demo is available now on PC through Steam and the Xbox app on PC. Search for Warhammer Survivors and download it. Console and mobile players have to wait until November 10 to try it.
