Pre-order direct: Khazalite Holds on the Warhammer store (or ask your local game store). Amazon sellers usually list new kits closer to release, so check back there around launch.
Pre-orders ship on or after launch day, November 21, 2026. The "while stocks last" items (the Gamer's Edition, the dice and Fjori's Vengeance) are the ones that can sell out, so order those first if you want them.
The centrepiece: High Kyng Valankrom
The big new kit is High Kyng Valankrom on his War Throne, carried into battle by his warriors. The same kit can also be built as Thrynn on War Throne, so you're not forced into the named character. At £88 it's the most expensive single kit in the wave, and the one most people will want on their table. If you want the king on foot instead, Thrynn is sold on his own for £25.

The battletome: regular or Gamer's Edition?
The regular Battletome: Khazalite Holds is £39.50 and has everything you need: the rules, the army's background and its lore. The Gamer's Edition is £54.00, sold online only while stocks last, and comes with a slipcase and extra content for players who want the full set. Everything about what's inside is in our Khazalite Holds battletome guide.

Starting an army: the Spearhead box
Spearhead: Khazalite Holds – Magmic Fyrd is £95 and is the easiest way into the army: a ready-made force for Age of Sigmar's smaller Spearhead mode, and a strong base for a bigger army later. Add the battletome and a pot or two of paint, and you have everything for your first games. If you're completely new to the hobby, our how to start Warhammer guide covers the basics.
The rest of the range
- Clanshields (£35.50) and Clangunners (£35.50, 10 models) are the core infantry: the shield wall and the guns behind it.
- Valayan Guardians (£29.50) are elite warriors sworn to Valaya, the goddess of the holds.
- Gholems of Gazul / Gholems of Valaya (£39.50) builds either type of Gholem.
- Oathkeeper Cannon / Stonebreaker Mortar (£37.50) gives the army its artillery.
- Hjulda Drakkblud, the Runewright and Ormyr and Ashtongue are the new characters to lead your force.
- Fjori's Vengeance (£64) is a Regiment of Renown, a ready-made unit you can add to other armies. See Khazalite Regiments of Renown explained.

What to buy first
- Brand new to the army: the Spearhead box (£95) plus the battletome (£39.50).
- Want the big model: High Kyng Valankrom (£88). It's the one everyone will want painted first.
- Limited stuff: the Gamer's Edition, dice and Fjori's Vengeance can sell out, so don't wait on those.
- Painting them: a Citadel paint set and a good brush set go a long way with all that gold and gemstone detail.

My take
This is a huge wave, and the prices are about what you'd expect for a brand-new army. The Spearhead box is the clear starting point, and Valankrom's War Throne is the showpiece. If you want the Gamer's Edition or the dice, don't sleep on them, they're marked while stocks last. What are you grabbing first?
