When does Solo Leveling Season 3 come out?

No official date. South Korean publisher D&C Media said in a financial report that it expects Season 3 to launch between 2027 and 2028. That's a business forecast, not an official announcement, and Crunchyroll hasn't confirmed a window. Crunchyroll's president has said the creators are "actively working" on the next project and hopes to announce something soon.

What is Solo Leveling: Beyond the System?

At Anime Expo 2026 in July, Crunchyroll revealed Solo Leveling: Beyond the System, a theatrical movie that continues Sung Jinwoo's story after Season 2. No release date has been announced yet. It's not Season 3, but it means more Solo Leveling is coming before the next season.

Where to watch Solo Leveling

  • Season 1 and Season 2 (Arise from the Shadow): streaming on Crunchyroll, subtitled and dubbed.
  • Season 3 and Beyond the System: no platform confirmed yet, but Crunchyroll is the expected home.

If you can't wait, the game Solo Leveling: Arise lets you play as Jinwoo and his shadow army.

My take

Solo Leveling became a huge hit because watching Jinwoo go from the weakest hunter to an army of one is pure fun. A 2027 to 2028 window is a long wait, but the Beyond the System movie should fill the gap.
