Who are they?
These are humans who chose Chaos for power and glory. Archaon the Everchosen leads them, the greatest mortal warrior of Chaos, with his elite Varanguard knights at his side. Many warbands also worship a single god: Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch or Slaanesh.
How they play
Slaves to Darkness are heavily armoured and brutal. Chaos Warriors and Chaos Knights are tough to shift and hit hard up close.
Where to start
Every Age of Sigmar army can start with a Spearhead box, a small ready-to-play force for quick games. Around Christmas, Games Workshop also releases discounted Battleforce boxes.
Painting tips

Dark metallic armour with one strong accent colour (red for Khorne, blue for Tzeentch) looks fantastic. A paint set covers the basics.
