WIZY RPG Is Looking for Android Alpha Testers: How to Sign Up

WIZY RPG is getting closer to its first outside test, and I need players to help. I'm looking for Android alpha testers to play early builds, find bugs and tell me what's fun and what isn't. It's free: you sign up with your email, and I send you a Google Play invite when testing opens.

What is WIZY RPG?

WIZY RPG is a single-player 3D fantasy action RPG for Android, inspired by classic loot games like Diablo. You play a Wizard or a Sorceress who arrives in the town of Eldermoor, takes on quests from the townsfolk and fights through the wild lands around it.

Build your own mage

• You start as a plain apprentice and choose your stats and your path.
• There are four schools of magic: Fire, Water, Air and Earth. A hero can learn up to two of them.
• After level 10, the Master quest decides your future: stay with one school and become Ascended (Pyromancer, Tidecaller, Stormlord or Geomancer), or master two and unlock a mixed school.
• Six mixed schools: Thunder (Fire + Air), Magma (Fire + Earth), Steam (Fire + Water), Storm (Water + Air), Bio (Water + Earth) and Sand (Air + Earth).
• Every school plays differently: Fire burns the ground, Water slows and freezes, Air pushes, pulls and dashes, Earth stuns and blocks.

A big first act

• Act 1 is planned as 10 chapters in the lands around Eldermoor: farms and meadows, a burning forest, graveyards and crypts, bandit hills, deep caves, goblin lands and the ogre highlands.
• Bosses, dungeons, caves and hand-placed treasure, with loot from Normal to Legendary.
• No pay-to-win. Everything in the game is earned by playing.

What you can play now: Chapter 1 is playable. It's an early alpha, so more chapters and some of the features above are still being built and will arrive in updates during testing.

What testers do

• Play early builds on your Android phone. The game is built to run on budget phones too, so every kind of phone helps.
• Report bugs: crashes, things that look wrong, places where you get stuck.
• Tell me what you think: what's fun, what's confusing, what's too hard or too easy.

You don't need any experience. Honest feedback from normal players is exactly what helps most.

How it works

1. Sign up on the tester page with the Google account email you use on the Play Store.
2. When testing opens, I add you as a tester in Google Play and email you the invite link.
3. You accept the invite and install the game from Google Play, like any other app.

Good to know

• Android only for now. iPhone isn't supported yet.
• It's free. Testing costs nothing, and you don't need the WIZY coin or any crypto. The game and the coin are separate things.
• Chapter 1 is playable now, with more chapters coming in updates.
• It's an early alpha build. Expect bugs, unfinished graphics and changes. That's the point of testing.
• Your email is only used to send you the testing invite and updates about testing. You can ask to be removed anytime.
