Besides the WIZY coin, I've been building a game: WIZY RPG, a single-player fantasy RPG set in the same wizard world. It's still in early development, but there's enough to show now. Here's a first look at what I'm making and why.

Last updated October 25, 2026 (new screenshots). The game is in development; everything here can still change.

What kind of game is WIZY RPG?

WIZY RPG is a single-player 3D fantasy action RPG with a camera that looks down at an angle, like classic action RPGs. I picked that view on purpose: robes, staffs, armor and spell effects look much better from that angle than straight from above.

The feeling I'm going for is the one I loved in classic loot games like Diablo: explore, fight, find better gear, and go back for more. It's not a token gimmick. The game has to be fun on its own.

The story: Act I in Eldermoor

The adventure starts in a village under attack by monsters. You arrive as a wizard answering a call for help, meet the village elder and the locals, take on quests, and head out into the wilds around the village.

The first release is planned as a polished Act I, not the whole saga at once. Eldermoor is the working name of the starting village, and the bigger villain and later chapters are still being worked out.

Choose your wizard and your magic

You can play as a male or female wizard, with exactly the same gameplay and progression.

Magic is built around elements. Fire and Ice are both available from the start. Later, you earn more paths through playing:

  • Fire: fireballs, burning damage and explosions.
  • Ice: freezing, slowing, ice spikes and barriers.
  • Wind: speed, knockback and tornadoes.
  • Thunder: chain lightning, stuns and storms.
  • Earth: the hardest to earn, with earthquakes, stone pillars and huge area magic.

Every element is earned in the game. None of them will ever be sold.

Loot, from normal to legendary

Gear drops from monsters, bosses, dungeons and chests. Items come in rarities, each with its own color: Normal, Magic, Rare, Unique, Set and Legendary. The rarer the item, the harder it is to find.

Cleared areas and dungeons can be replayed at higher difficulty, so there's always a reason to go back for better equipment.

No pay-to-win

This one matters a lot to me:

  • The story, quests, levels, all magic paths, dungeons and even legendary loot can all be earned by playing.
  • No pay-to-win, no real-money loot boxes and no paid combat abilities.
  • The plan is a small, affordable game, around $5–$10. If extras ever exist, they'll be cosmetic only.

Where the game is right now

I want to be honest here: WIZY RPG is in early development. I'm testing builds on my own Android phone, fixing bugs, adjusting the controls and balance, and replacing temporary graphics with proper art. There's no release date yet, and I won't promise one until the game is ready.

The plan is Android first, through Google Play, once Act I is in good shape.

The game and the coin

WIZY RPG and the WIZY coin share the same wizard world, but they're separate things. You don't need the coin to play the game, and supporting the game doesn't promise anything about the coin.

Follow the development

Screenshots, the gameplay video and the latest updates are on the WIZY RPG page. I'll post development updates here on the blog as the game grows.
